Johann Moxam Thanks George Town North Voters and Volunteers
Grand Cayman, April 15th – Johann Moxam, a candidate for George Town North in yesterday’s general elections, says that upon reflection, he is proud of the campaign, the quality and substance of the message, the content and the proposed solutions provided throughout the campaign.
“I support participatory democracy and respect the decision of George Town Voters. I would like to thank the people of George Town North, who opened their homes to me, shared their hopes and confided their fears. Thank you to all who came to meetings and supported me at the polls,” Johann said.
“Mr. Wesley Howell and the entire team behind the elections are to be commended for their outstanding efficiency and professionalism; a special thank you to the returning officer for George Town North Mr. Phillip Jackson, and the dedicated team at the polling station,” he added.
“To the volunteer committee who worked tirelessly on the Vote Moxam campaign, thank you for your sacrifice, hard work, and willingness to be part of making a better Cayman for all. We can be proud of our courage to bring attention to the issues of openness, accountability, transparency, and good governance, and for our proposed solutions to some of the most vexing systemic issues facing the campaign,” Moxam noted.
“Congratulations to the newly elected government; I wish them every success. May all Members of Parliament deliver on the campaign promises to put the people and their needs first in the next administration. Creating a better Cayman for all has always been my motivation. As a private citizen, I will continue champion sound policies for a sustainable future, accountability, transparency and good governance at all levels,” he concluded.
